Just finished tonight's live IG stream. I think I'm getting the hang of it. I showed some footage from 2016 from a visit to the Mangyan Panaytayan village in the mountains of Mansalay, Mindoro. It's probably one of the last interviews with Antoon Postma before he pasted away. It will be available for less than 24 hours. Screened the 1st 15 mins of a raw work in progress cut of my art film, Sulat ng Malansang Isda #writingofthestinkyfish at the @urbanxindigenous event this past Saturday @somarts. I was a bit nervous but all was good at the Q&A. It’s multilayered with many intersects. I’m still trying to figure it out while I shoot, direct, edit, write and produce the soundtrack.
