when your cheeks start to flare up - and not in the good sense - athanasia will be all over you as if you were dangerously precarious and could fall at any moment. she tries her best to assist you on her own but good intentions oftentimes cannot solve latching fevers; so she calls for a doctor (which are the absolute best at their proffession, mind you) (and yes that is doctor without an s, you miraculously convinvced your lover to not summon the whole kingdom's supply of doctors - however barely) and lets them treat you instead. her hands might've been a bit clumsy when the doctor takes their leave, saying more than fives times to the princess that no, you aren't on your death bed - but be rest assured, she listened to their every word and follow them well. if lucas finds out you're sick, he'll worry, yes - but he knows you're capable enough to take care of yourself (but that still does not prevent him from eyeing you like a goddamn hawk). you'll know he knows when the man is all over you like the newest disease you've caught; and you find he's more annoying than the constant coughs and bitter medication because heavens he chastises you for every single thing more than before when ill. you tripped over the uneven part of a carpet? you're going blind and dumber by the minute. you bumped into a wall? same thing but this time he says your brain rolled out of your head when you tripped earlier. doesn't he know that you shouldn't piss off someone who's sick?? seriously, this man is ten times more annoying but make it in a caring way that makes you take care of yourself more so you don't have to go through that hell, ever again. @strangerspdf 2023.
