Mun-Directed Questions About Roleplaying!

1. If you had to change your character’s FC for one day, who would you pick?

Kamiki Ryunosuke, maybe?

2. What drew you to rping this character?

Uh… I just feel that Kouki is a really underrated actor and he deserves more recognition because he’s really talented and all that, so I hope that I can let more people know about him through roleplaying because he really deserves that. 

3. What’s something you like about how you write?

… can I say none?

Flexibility, I guess. I like how I can experiment with it for my needs in writing, roleplaying, etc.

5. What’s something about your character that you’d like if you had to spend time with them?

??? I don’t really get this question, sorry.

8. What;s a similarly you have with your character?

I portray Kouki based on what I read on interviews (it’s really hard to find videos of him except for occasional appearances on livestreams – and I don’t really understand what he’s saying as well 95% of the time because my Japanese is extremely limited) and I actually concluded that he’s quite introverted, so we’re both introverts though he’s much more outspoken than I am.

12. Why do you roleplay?

I’ve always liked writing and RPing is a good way to practice my writing. Also, it’s nice to find a community where you have common interests with people around the world.

23. What’s your take on AUs?

Love them. I really want someone to create AUs with me, to be honest.

26. What’s a ship you really like rping?

I’m open to any kinds of ship as long as there’s chemistry between the characters.

27. What’s a ship you would never rp? For what reason? 

Forced ships. Just, no.

38. Has a roleplayer ever changed your view on a character? If so, how? Good or bad? For better or for worse?

None. I don’t like judging characters based on how someone roleplays them.

46. What’s your favorite thing about rping a long/para/novella style thread?

I tend to write long paragraphs to begin with, and some replies can’t be seized into just one or two lines, so para/novella enables you to express more.

48. Do you prefer gifs or icons when roleplaying? Or no FC at all?

Either icons or no FC.

50. What’s something you like about FCs/Play-Bys?

I can just put an icon in one of my replies and imagine my character saying his dialogues with that face. It can get hilarious sometimes.

56. How did you learn about roleplaying? How did you get started roleplaying yourself?

I… honestly can’t remember.

57. What was your first roleplay character? 

Gardenia from Pokemon.

59. What/Who is a character you think you would like to roleplay? What’s currently stopping you from roleplaying them?

I kinda miss roleplaying in the anime/manga universe (I think I like it better than roleplaying real people, actually. But both are fun in their own ways) so I’m actually considering someone from Love Live! (I’m such a loser, I know). Or I might probably return to RPing Death Note.

I’m going to be extremely busy for the next few months because I’m taking my IGCSE this year, so it’ll have to wait.

60. Who’s a roleplayer (or writer) you think you have learned a lot from?

There’s this Gaara roleplayer when I was still roleplaying as Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto. The mun’s writing is really beautiful and though we have never actually roleplayed before, I admire her writing from afar and actually used samples from her replies as a reference to improve my writing style.
