B – Beautiful Mess by Kristian Kostov
I'm sure few people know this song or the artist, unless they're Eurovision fans. It is an atmospheric pop ballad that captured my heart from the very first note. For me, I'd say it is one of the most emotional entries along with Arcade by Duncan Laurence, and a couple of others too.
P.S. Still can't believe Kristian Kostov missed the trophy that year (2017).
U – Use Somebody by Kings of Leon
There's not much to say about this – it's a classic rock song that everyone knows somehow. It's been in my playlists for years, so it would be such a shame to leave it out from this one.
T – Teardrop by Civil Twilight
It's one of those very rare times when the cover surpasses the original song, but Civil Twilight has done such an amazing job. I mean, this enchanting melody combined with Steven McKellar's expressive voice, gets me every time.
T – True Disaster by Tove Lo
Okay, listen up, I freaking love The Weeknd & Dua Lipa, but if there's someone who first took us back to the 80's, that's definitely Tove Lo with her synthpop song; True Disaster in 2016. This song is a pure masterpiece for me, and underrated for sure.
E – End Of Me by A Day To Remember
This song made me a fan of ADTR and it's my all time favorite by them. I always come back to it when I need some sort of motivation in my life. Just right in the feels – this one, and Snuff by Slipknot.
R – Radioactive by Imagine Dragons
Again, not much to say here – just another epic song from my childhood that I shall never forget. It also reminds of the 100 & The Host Movie ;)
