You held the star in your hands and closed your eyes to make wish. "I wish..." you brought the star closer, "I wish to find my true love." You waited a moment before you opened your eyes to see the star still sitting in your hands, unchanged.

"Wah! It didn't work!" Grim exclaimed. Trey gave a small nod in understanding. "I see... it can't grant a wish that already came true."

Heartslabyule: Riddle & Trey

“Aren’t they better this way?”  Trey’s mouth was agape as he spotted you diligently working your homework. Riddle was at your side smiling at his vice and old friend. “When Cater mentioned how cute you two would be as a couple I had to make sure they were perfect. You deserve the best after all.” Riddle set his hand on the top of your head but you continued un-phased. “A few low grades and rules broken is unacceptable so I fixed them... Just adjusted their interests a bit and it has made all the difference.” 

Your head finally rose and looked to Trey as he called your name. You gave him the usual smile and greeting; however Trey could tell something was off. You had that bright spark in your eye, the kind you usually had when you were trying to convince him to sneak away for some fun. Yet that mischievous ‘up to something’ glint was missing from your eye. 

Trey forced his lips to curve into a smile. Riddle had good intentions but how could he not see how unacceptable his action was. To overwrite someones interest like that? However until he knew exactly whata had been done and if it could be undone he’d simply play along. Study dates could be fun, at least he’d be able to get some work done.
