Happy Birthday to the Finch Twins, Sam and Calvin!! 🥳

Don’t need a calculator to tell y’all both would be 74 years old today 🤭 but unfortunately both died rather young (one more so than the other-). I would have loved to see old men Sam and Calvin. I think they would be fun (especially their dynamic)

Some Lewis Finch headcanons because he’s a good boi

- Out of the three siblings, he’s the only one who speaks Indian.

- After his dad died, he became more quiet and depressed. He believed that it was his fault that he died, because before Sanjay went to the relief effort site, Lewis told him to stay safe and come back alive, and Lewis believes that he jinxed it.

- Dyed the tips of his hair blonde. that’s why in the game we see him with blond hair, even though in the photos around the house he has brown hair.

- Has a sarcastic humor.

-Pansexual boy.

- Watched “My friend bigfoot” (You know, Barbara’s movie) a few times with his father, and every time they watched it, they criticized it. A lot.

- Has Coulrophobia (fear of clowns), Agrophobia (fear of open or crowded places), Atychiphobia (Fear of failure) and Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia (fear of really long words)

- Has a pile of manga books under his bed.

- Has also written a diary where he talks about his family’s history.

His opinions on his dead family members at that time are:

Molly- “Welp, that explains why mom named our cat Molly.”

Odin- “Remember kids- If your family is cursed, don’t build a boathouse.”

Calvin- “He actually went all the way around. If he was still alive, he would’ve gotten a prize for that.”

Barbara- “Awww man. Dad and I used to watch her movie.”

Rick- “A**hole.”

(Walter wasn’t dead yet)

Sam- “Mom saw her father died and never told us about it. But hey, I guess that explains why she’s vegetarian now.”

Gregory- “A BABY died in this house. He could see the world, grow up, be our cool uncle, but NOOOOO. He just had to be left in the bathtub without anyone noticing.”

Gus- “Uncle Gus sounds like a cool guy. I wish I could’ve met him.”

Sanjay- “Dad... I could talk about him for hours. The greatest guy on earth, the best father in the universe... God, I miss him.”

Milton- “I couldn’t get over dad’s death and Milton disappeared. I think it was my fault. I should’ve watched him. I think he might be dead, like the rest of the family, but mom is too naive and hopeful. I just hope I wouldn’t lose Edith too.”

You recon Sam ever visited Calvin’s grave? How often do you think he visited, and did he do it more or less over the years as he got older?

I like thinking about this sometimes.

The Finch twins and Kay headcanons

Before the swing incident:

- The twins met Kay in kindergarten.

-They were best friends.

- Originally, Kay had a huge crush on Calvin when they were kids (Yup. First crush at 11.). Sam always tried to impress her, but she always tried to impress his twin, who didn’t seem to care about it.

-Calvin never felt anything for Kay. She was just a friend.

-Unlike Calvin, Sam had a huge crush on her.

After the swing incident:

-After Calvin died, she called Sam “Calvin” for a little while.

- A few years later, Kay and Sam began dating. Sam thought he finally mannaged to impress her, but her reason to start dating him was that he’s similar to Calvin. She never told him that, but it was obvious.

- Sam and Kay's relationship went downhill a little bit before Gus was born after Sam found out that she still has feelings for his dead twin and that she’s still hasn’t got over his death.

- Their relationship hit rock bottom when Sam had to go away for a while after Gregory was born.

- Kay died in a car accident a few months after Gus’s death, when she lost control over her car and fell off a cliff. She was overseas and Sam, Edie, and Dawn were busy so they couldn’t come to her funeral.
