The WS stans, despite their concentrated efforts (and despite their claims that they’re the majority and that all/most of the SPN fans want the spinoff), didn’t get the hashtag to trend during SPN’s finale night, it didn’t even crack the top 20, but the Supernatural hashtag made it all the way to #2!

man i am so freaking sick of WS fans shitting on the rest of the fanbase and blaming us for it not getting picked up. ummm, we don't control a goddamn network and frankly you were all running your mouths about how much support the show had, how insane it's social media presence was, so obvs the fandom did its part. if WS was the huge phenomenon they were insisting it was, it would be airing next year, and it's not the fandom's fault that it's not.
They bring up the 0.6 demo share the WS pilot got like it’s something to brag about. That’s barely better than the season average (0.55) which is only so low because one ep aired on Thanksgiving and 7 or 8 eps were preempted for baseball and basketball in various regions (we lost 3 eps to college basketball in mine alone). It needed to do at least as well or better than the ScoobyNatural ep (0.73) or Baby in S11 (0.81), both of which had the same amount of promotion as WS yet managed to nearly match their season openers in numbers. WS needed to show it could hold/bring the entire SPN audience and it didn’t, in fact, it didn’t even trend in the top 10 on the night it aired (only managed the top 20), but Supernatural did.
And, in the 15 days since the announcement that WS isn’t getting picked up, it’s only trended once and the petition has been stuck in the 70k’s for 6 days.
What it boils down to is WS was not well thought out, it took up too much of SPN, it stepped all over the main characters, it made a lot of fans sick of it before the pilot even aired, and the characters were poorly written. And the WS fans didn’t help their cause by insisting everyone had to give it a chance or they weren’t ‘real SPN fans’ and must hate women.
Careful you dont get blocked by that WS stan flying fish. I did.

If you don't like Wayward Sisters, why don't you just ignore it? Quit complaining about it and taking away other people's enjoyment and excitement about it. Talk about what you like instead.
Ignore it? I can’t, they’ve shoved it down my throat with four episodes and the front half of the season wasted on it. Also, I don’t have to. There’s nothing in the right to freedom of speech that says it has to bepositive speech, or agreeable speech. You have the right to disagree with what I say, but you don’t have the right to silence me.
As for “taking away other people’s enjoyment”, only you control your internet experience, quit looking in anti tags or filter them out, and only you can give up your enjoyment, you are in control of your emotions, no one can take them.
If you need a safe bubble of hivemindedness around you to function and enjoy things, the internet is not the place for you.
Supernatural gave us relationships with depth and believable characters and relatable motivations, all steeped and simmered and marinated and revealed over years.
WS fans were given Supernatural’s old coffee grounds, mixed with instant (skills and family) to hide the recycled flavor, and are celebrating it because it comes in a pink cup.
They don’t seem to realize that, if they keep telling TPTB that WS is the most perfect thing to ever perfect, TPTB will never improve it.

Speaking of those suits anyway, they were obviously not theirs. J2 flew directly to NYC from Rome and, clearly, didn’t bring suits with them since Jared was wearing his Saturday pants and Sunday shirt. Those suits were undoubtedly brought to them that morning by a stylist, Jensen and Misha’s pants were too short (so much so on Jensen he had to wear invisible socks), and they probably couldn’t find a suit with pants long enough for Jared without them being tailored. And, I’ve no doubt that Chico (VP of CW PR) chose the matching (ish) blue and manufactured the story to distract the destihellers and cockles stans (aka the WS stans) from the fact that WS isn’t being picked up and wasn’t mentioned at the Upfronts, and to help derail the sustained attack against Jared over JIB. And, oh look, it worked! They dangled something shiny in front of you and you jumped for it. Good job there stan anon! XD
