okay so the thing that’s incredible is that part of what made Mack going back to Boston with Will for Marmon, meeting his friends and being folded into Will’s world, insane was that it’s not really how hockey bros behave. even for the closest of teammates, you don’t really plan trips and go out of your way during the offseason. Will mentioning Van and Mack coming to Boston was a step outside of the traditional hockey bro script. but still, Mack had some cover there. his brother was in boston and he could hang with old bu teammates, so it wouldn’t be all about Will.
so it’s actually a little bit hysterical that Zeev is stepping outside the hockey bro script for Will and he’s doing it even better than Mack, because Zeev neither lives in Boston nor went to school there, and his connect to Will is quite famously the #cult of the NTDP. he has exactly zero (0) reason to be in Boston, other than to see Will. like why is Zeev getting dinner in the north end with Will and Jacob Fowler of all people, who didn’t even play for the NTDP with them, homie’s connect to Zeev is just playing together for team USA a couple times.
truly wonderous the way that Will invokes such strong love in all his boys especially in this sport it MUST be studied. also incredible that Will needs to have at minimum one (1) member of his harem around him at all times or he goes clinically insane, and none of them ever ever say no, in fact they are all usually fighting for that role.
