Wow I just went to see The Punk Singer ; The Kathleen Hanna story! for those who don't know Kathleen Hanna was the lead singer of Bikini Kill and Le Tigre and now the Julie Ruin. I approached knowing a bit of her music, what really comes across is braveness and pure honesty. The last 10 mins had me brawling my eyes out. Because it showed her battling with her illness Lymes disease. That plus all the issues of.gender discrimination just made me go wow and kind of ashamed to be a man!
