Frankie’s Sports Pub in Washington lost its liquor license for allowing patrons to smoke weed as they enjoyed a beer. Washington law doesn’t allow on-site consumption — especially in places serving alcohol.

Good news for people who love alcohol

A panel of the Washington State Liquor Control Board voted on Wednesday to allow discounted prices for volume buyers of hooch.

Restaurants and distributors were pissssssed last year when the WSLCB in their infinite ignorance voted to ban discounts for wholesalers of alcohol, arguing that they'd have to pass price increases to consumer (read: drinkers).

Public hearings will be held on July 9 to discuss the rules change, with a final full board vote later in July. 

We'll drink to that.
