So in Classics, we were talking about the Libation Bearers right, and to draw a comparison, a guy in class references Game of Thrones. Which, really, isn't all that bad, go for it dude. But no. He then goes on to say, "well, you know, you have to connect things. My connection to the show is through my girlfriend-- well, she doesn't /know/ she's my girlfriend yet, but yeah." Professor does a double take, and asks: "What do you mean, she doesn't know?" "Yeah, no, not yet." "Does she at least like you as well? Is she going to be happy, when you ask her?" Dude just kinda looks self-satisfied, and goes: "Well, let's just say she's really lucky." Professor loses her shit laughing, tells him they gotta talk bc what even is this, but the rest of us are laughing in disbelief and a lot of the women look uncomfortable and one yells out, "that's creepy you know." Damn right it is. Wtf
