NRA Absolves Corporate Donor That Made Sandy Hook Gun: Blaming Bushmaster "Like Blaming Kleenex For The Flu"

The NRA again has tried and failed to come up with intelligent reasons to believe anything they say.  In their newest video,  commentator Natalie Foster complained about a "lack of accuracy and shoddy research" leading to an anti-gun bias in the media. She mentions a journalist who used the "incorrect" language when identifying a pistol or firearm. Turns out, Foster is wrong and ended up displaying her lack of basic firearms knowledge.

 What Foster doesn't mention in this video is that the article she is criticizing has called out Bushmaster's parent company, Remington Outdoor Company (ROC), a major NRA donor. ROC has given the NRA between $1,000,000 and $4,999,999 in corporate donations, according to a September 2013 report from gun violence prevention group Violence Policy Center.

No mention of that anywhere. WTF NRA!

NRA donates $150K more in fight against I-594

The National Rifle Association has donated an additional $150,000 to its political action committee in Washington to fight a measure seeking universal background checks on gun sales and transfers.

The committee has now raised more than $432,000 and spent more than $373,000 against Initiative 594, which would require background checks for all gun sales and transfers in Washington state, including at gun shows and for private sales, with some exemptions. Proponents of I-594 have raised more than $8.6 million.

Why would the NRA try to prevent an initiative that would expand background checks so that criminals, domestic abusers, and other violent persons can't get their hands on guns? WTF NRA! Seriously WTF!

Why don't Americans have a surgeon general to explain the Ebola crisis? Because the NRA-influenced Senate can't get its act together.

Thanks to NRA power and Senate cowardice, we are left with no surgeon general during a time when, we not only have Ebola arriving on our shores, but are also dealing with the mysterious Enterovirus, which is infecting and contributing to the deaths of children in the U.S.

Bill Clinton: U.S. has bought NRA's theory

Bill Clinton addressed a number of crime and justice issues during a sweeping talk with CNN on Wednesday, including taking on the National Rifle Association and its pro-gun policy.

Bill Clinton on the NRA:

"I think we have enhanced the risks by changing the environment, basically, because it seems we bought the NRA's theory that we would all be safer if everybody in this audience had a gun that was a concealed weapon," Clinton said."

Basically, we shouldn't be like the NRA. That's right! :D Go cancel your membership.

The NRA want to join in the Ray Rice conversation by saying that people who support gun reform are “providing an example to young men that it’s okay to beat women as long as you can throw a football." WTF! 

But what the NRA does not say is that men like Ray Rice — abusers with no criminal conviction to speak of but a clear and dangerous willingness to use violence against their partners — are exactly who the NRA is fighting to keep armed and deadly right now. WTFNRA
