5 reasons drake is what the game needed?
LOL. There’s so much to say about this Candadian prince. I don’t know if I can squeeze what the Rap Messiah has done for hip hop in 5 bullet points, but I’ll try.
When’s the last time you seen a rapper smile, dance, and breathe at the same time? TRIPLE THREAT.
He’s sensitive and caring. He really gets women. He’ll compliment you on your figure and pamper you like the princess you are. “I mean that thing is poking, I mean you kinda like that girl that’s in the U.S. Open, I mean I got this hidden agenda that you provoking, I got bath water that you could soak in, things I can do with lotion.”
He makes up his own acronyms like Leslie Knope. Future in politics? I think so. Drake just stands for Do Right And Kill Everything, remember that, and while you’re at it don’t forget YOLO. That’s why he’s WTGN (What The Game Needed).
His style. Not everyone can pull off velveteen blouses and leopard loafers. The last time we had someone so stylish in the game was Flava Flav. Soak that in.
“They keep telling me don’t save you, if I ignore all that advice, and something isn’t right, then who will I complain to?” Then there’s, “If you just give tonight to me, I promise my hands are safe.” He has to save the damsel in distress and he wants her to know that she’s safe with him. It’s like he can’t escape his duty, his destiny. If that doesn’t make him the one true hero of hip hop I don’t know what does.
This barely scratches the surface and I could go on all day, but really the man’s personality, style and lyrical talent speaks for itself.
