HERE ARE THE RULES

Halloween is coming!!

On All Hallows' Eve, all through the ARK, candies are hidden, the hunt is a-start. So slide on your shoes, and slip on your costumes, get ready for searchin', let's start in the playroom.

Spooky season is here, and the When There's Light, There's Shadow team invites YOU to join in on the candy hunt!

We're looking to see artworks of all the kiddos having fun on Shadow's first Halloween! Three winners will be picked to receive exclusive WTLTS content in the form of a free custom PFP and banner set of any character of their choosing in any Halloween costume!

Rules!

- Your work must be submitted in the Discord in the official Halloween event channel

- Your Tumblr user must be credited if it's different from your Discord user

- No AI, tracing, plagiarism, or bases. References must be linked or credited. All submissions must be original, inspiration is allowed.

- All images with text must have a dyslexia-friendly font / alternative, as well as an image ID

- You must include all the children, after all, they're candy-hunting together. This includes Maria, Shadow, and Abe!

- Your submission must be COMPLETELY SFW. This means no explicit costumes, no suggestive poses, and very minimal gore! They're all children, and massive gore makes some of the event mods uncomfy.

- You can only submit up to 3 works to give everyone's a chance to be seen for fair decision.

- Submissions can include art, short comics, short fanfics, renders, and sculptures.

!! - ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE BY OCTOBER 30TH

Note : You aren't required to draw them trick-or-treating/candy hunting. They could be telling ghost stories around a candle, watching a scary movie, making paper ghosts, or carving pumpkins. Any costumes from the time period are allowed!

IF YOU WIN

- You may request one character and one costume, as well as one short phrase to be in the banner

- You may ask for a specific font as long as it's available as an .otf or .ttf file for free online.

- The costume must be SFW

- The character must be a character that appears in Sonic Adventure 2

- You may not ask to have the watermark / noise filter removed from your prize.

- You may not ask for something different or try to bargain for a different kind of artwork.

Cleaned up some sketch images that were for WTLTS fan game and were unused in the end. Proportions are off in the second one since he's not baby enough. (ᵕ ´ᗜ`) But I didn't bother fixing it since it was not to be used in the final. I love paw pads for Shadow, and I know some people do the four toe beans, but it seemed odd to have four fingers and a thumb, but then only four beans on his feet. So he has five here. I couldn't decide. Maybe four is better? EDIT: Just now realized that second picture I forgot to finish off her bangs. oopsie. Oh, well.
