Presents Under the Tree? Not Just Yet...

Hey everyone! So I just wanted to remind you that there's only a week left to get your gifts in for the (Mun) Secret Santa event! Check the inbox of the first muse you picked up in order to find who's gift you're arranging. There were a few changes, but it shouldn't be a difficult switch. Also check the inbox of that same muse to receive your gift. We pass it on to you as soon as we get it! Don't be a grinch, okay?

With Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Years, and all the holidays coming up, we are pleased to announce our very first mun event! When the Smoke Clears is celebrating the holidays together with our first ever Mun Secret Santa Gift Exchange!

How is this going to work?

A marvelous question! Every mun must check the askbox of the first muse they picked up. There, they will find the name of the recipient of their gift. You have until January 10th, 2015 to send that mun a gift. This is very important, this is a Secret Santa gift exchange, so please do not tell anyone who you are giving a gift to. The mystery is part of the fun! However, since thank you’s are only polite, the day after an event, a list of who was who’s Santa will be posted. So everyone knows.

How do I send and recieve my gifts?

To send in your gifts, please submit them to the Event Blog, so that everything remains anonymous as possible. Make sure you have the submissions option on your blog open to receive your gift, we’ll send them to you from your Secret Santa. When you post the gift you received, please tag it wtscsecretsanta. Anything related to this event should be tagged with that, as well. Also, please be sure to send your gift in! It’d be very sad not to receive a gift, and you don’t want to be the one who does that to someone else. In the spirit of the holiday season, if you stay on top of anything, this is what it should be~ Spread the joy!

What kind of gifts shall I give?

We’re not asking anyone to go out and buy things, or to give any personal information.

Easter Egg Hunt - April Event

Welcome one and all. The name's Raymond, and I'll be hosting the Easter Egg hunt this year. It will be held at central park, and all kids under the age of thirteen are invited! As for those over, you're welcome to attend, but we'd appreciate a helping hand!

A lot of the kids' parents wont be able to attend, and we'll need a few older 'kids-at-heart' grown ups to keep an eye on them. This is how it works!

One child will be assigned two adults, though siblings will be kept together, so a pair may end up with more than one child. These adults need to help their kid find eggs and keep them safe and sound. There are a few children to choose from. BOTH players will have control over the child, so make sure the child you pick is someone you know well enough to write!

Do NOT volenteer someone else! If you want to participate with a certain person, ask them first. Then, send to me which child/children you want to take care of for the day. If you don't care who you end up with, send us which child/children you want and we'll find you a partner! Or if you don't care which scenario, tell us you're interested and we'll slot you in!

Any taken kids are free to join! Just message us and we'll add your muse in!

Below the read more is a list of children to choose from, and what you can expect from them.

Children

Robin Rosewood - A young sickly girl who spends most of her days in Storybrooke Hospital. Robin is prone to many sicknesses, and it's not often she gets outside. Robin has been cleared, and is extremely excited to get out for the hunt. Her carers will need to keep a close eye on her, because she's very likely to come down with an illness. Robin doesn't get out much, so make sure her day is memorable! Robin is Rosy from Balto.

Jenny Foxworthy - Jenny's parents haven't had contact with their daughter for over a year, and Jenny's aunt is too busy to take her. Jenny's very rich but very generous, and is likely to only take a few eggs for herself. Her carers will have to try to fill the void of her parents' absence and keep her in high spirits. Jenny is from Oliver & Company

Cody Adiak - Cody's mother has recently gone missing, and has been left in the care of Kendall Naika. Kendall's too busy to take Cody, so he needs two carers to take care of him throughout the hunt. Cody's extremely talkative and confident, and is able to get on other people's nerves easily. His carers will have to keep him in line and stop him from annoying the other hunters. Cody is Koda from Brother Bear.

Harris, Hubert, and Hamish Armstrong - Harris, Hubert, and Hamish are a handful. Their parents are too busy to take care of them, so it's their carer's duty to keep them from destroying the hunt! They're sly and sneaky, and will be a handful for their carers. The two carers will have to keep all three from taking all the eggs for themselves, so good luck! Blink and you might just lose them! Harris, Hurbert, and Hamish are from Brave.

Nicholas and Ava Zimmer - Two children orphaned when their mother passed away. Their father is unknown. No one knows where they live, and most don't even know they exist. These two may be sweet and courteous at sight, but they're very resourceful. These two will try to hoard as many eggs as they can, and it is their carers job to keep them from taking all the eggs. But they might have a hard time when they find out these two are homeless, and they're taking the eggs to survive. Nicholas and Ava are Hansel and Gretel.

Jamie and Sophie Benjamin - Jamie is a young boy who still believes in the Easter Bunny. A lot of the other kids have lost faith, and will certainly try to ruin it for Jamie. Sophie's even younger and needs constant care. She's too young to go alone, and one adult must always be with her. Their carers will have to keep Jamie's faith high, and keep Sophie safe. Jamie and Sophie are from Rise of The Guardians

Marie, Berlin, and Lewis - Three very wealthy and very different little children. Their mother wont be able to attend, and they're in need of a carer for the day. They're well behaved, most of the time, and polite. But that doesn't stop Marie and Lewis from quarrelling between each other. Their carers will have to keep the two from fighting over everything. Berlin is the easiest of the three to handle, but his carers will have to try to get the shyest of the three out of his shell and enjoy the day. Marie, Berlin, and Lewis are Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse from The Aristocats

What? Storybrooke's First Annual Snow Ball, a night of dancing dining and a night to get to know your fellow town members.

Where? Storybrooke Community Center, Dance Hall

When? Starting December 26th 9pm

Who? Everyone is Invited.

We are pleased to announce the first group even and Storybrooke's first annual Snow Ball. A night of dancing, dining and mingling with the town folk! Everyone is encouraged to bring a date, but it's not required (but it's the perfect time to ask that pretty young lady, or handsome young lad to go on a date, isn't it?) For the muns of the group you will be able to post threads and enter the chatzy until the 31st. Threads may go longer but starters involving the ball should be during that time frame. You may gif chat or para, or what have you.

No Date? Go with friends. Go alone, it'll be fun either way.
