Claim Your Prize || Sinclair & Piper
Piper had actually gone to length to make the night go well. She'd made homemade fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. Her best dish she'd been told. She'd gotten a proper bouquet of flowers for Rose's flower shop as well. Set in the middle of the table, framed by two candles on either side that flickered gently. She wasn't sure what Sinclair liked exactly, but she could easily swap the lights on if that was preferred. But for now, she went the extra mile. She aimed to impress tonight after all.
She'd even dressed up, a little black dress that was elegant, but still hugged her curves nicely. Not nearly as showy as her work clothing however. She could dress up when the tiem came. She leaned against the counter, a selection of wine set out. She had more as well, but she'd chosen her best red and white that she had and set them out with two glasses.
When she heard the doorbell ring she looked over the place once more and smirked, she did good. She'd go for it if it was her waiting on the other side of the door. She grabbed a rose, the finishing touch and answered the door. "Good Evening." Piper spoke the words with a silky sort of undertone, offering the rose. "For you, beautiful."
Problems || Shock and Sinclair
Wonderful, Shock thought as she walked out of Oscar's office. She had just been told that she and Scarlet Sinclair were to work together on something that he wanted done. It was a simple job, but the thing was, Sinclair didn't really like the D'Ceit kids all that much, and she didn't really hide it either. So why did Oscar put them on the job together? She stormed out the front door, about to go looking for her when she rounded the corner onto Oscar's property. "Sinclair," Shock shouted, walking toward the blonde, "Bad news, Oscar's putting us on a case together. He wants us to do a compliance check at some of the bars in town. Together."

Throwing Down the Gauntlet || Scarlet and Gray
Metallica blasted through his earbuds as he ran, head tilted down to watch the display as he ran, almost faster than the elliptical could handle. He would've switched to the treadmill, but he knew that the machine he was on was better for him, even if it was a pain in his ass. He was on his fifth mile in the past hour, without a break, and half his water bottle was drained, but Gray was no where close to stopping.
The week had been hell, and he was frustrated, angry, and just dying to vent. Unfortunately, there had been no one brave enough to fight him, and the people he had tried to get mad at him were fucking level-headed assholes who wouldn't do him any good. Especially the fruit vender. She had just made him angrier, and he had come immediately here to vent steam. He was vaguely aware that Penelope might get worried, but with his phone on airplane mode, music blasting, and adrenaline pumping he didn't care. Especially with the rage. His hands had been clenched into fists for a while, but he didn't care to relax them. Not until he either collapsed or fought. Either way, it wouldn't end well for someone.
He looked up for a moment when he saw movement out of the corner of his eye, and his gaze locked with a woman's. He glared at her, giving her a scowl for good measure before turning back to the wall. He was sick of women. First Regina, then Penelope, then the fruit vender. He was positive she would be the same. Fucking females...
