Some tesgala sketches I used my 1/4th of a fashion degree to whip up. Didn't do anything super historically accurate like I wanted, but what's scheduled is scheduled.

Asna (she/her) (right) is representing the serpent, which is the sign that she was resurrected/reborn under, with a dawn theme, the role of Magnus being eaten by it being taken by her hair sculpture.

Aldercaine (he/her) (middle) is representing his sign, the atronach, with a dusk theme, a long flowing cape and floating replicas of Masser and Secunda floating in her traditional reachman headdress.

Meridi- I mean- Their Third, an... Ayleid?? (she/her) (left) is representing the steed stone with a fractional light themed look.

Thoughts under the cut:

Thinking that the aspects of modern fashion creeping especially into Asna's and Meridia's outfits are Magna-Ge inspired, particularly with the presence of the serpent, and the fact that the stars that make it are canonically some of Meridia's sisters (in my canon the mage/warrior/thief trio are as well).

Wanted on the technical aspect of things to keep things very cymk for Meridia, whereas the blends of purples and blues fit the more fluid spirit of the inconstancy of mortality, even if they technically both aren't anymore.

Also meant to keep the silhouette of the constellation as pure as possible, thought it would be a fun challenge to keep them incorporated. The gems/blue dots are supposed to be aetherium as a flex, because Meridia is extra like that <3

Lastly, for curious parties, Aldercaine's mirror finish is part of his deals with Molag and Meridia clashing over his vampirism.

3. What are some tropes or details that you think are very characteristic of your fics?

Published:

Queerness and examination of Gender to some degree (to quote the group chat: "lesbians" "yeah lesbians" "lesbians who like the sun a lot" "lesbians") (i would argue it's not just lesbians but i can't fight that fight and win)

Unconventional love interests (I don't like it now but I have written some Alduin/reader in the past, and WTSTTE is going to feature Meridia in non-human form pretty frequently)

Unpublished/For the Future:

Examination of Tamriel’s Geopolitical (and Trade) Structure by comparison to real world analogues (i have thoughts about Alinor silk exports (for example) because I'm a textiles nerd)

Why Do None Of The TES Protagonists Really Have Lasting Choices (i mean i know why but like. why)

Tiber Septim and Imperialism (i have an interest in the reach and the forsworn especially and have a lot of Celtic/Irish headcanons (and have done a lot of research for them (but could always do more)), plus i think it's really interesting to compare pre-Septim 2e to 4e 201).

I'm very heavily in the outline phase (and have been for five years in September) so uhhhhhhhhhh- how about some assorted patch notes for my Where the Sun Touches the Earth outline? (These won't be published anytime soon unfortunately)

Made Aldercaine have a gender crisis (he/her pronouns)

Gave Braith’s family some cool things from Hammerfell, including their dragonfrog, Prince A’tor

Some TES:A: Redguard tie-ins

So much math done so i could see if i could add a snowball fight to an interlude (it’s still unclear)

As an addition to the above, I also set a (ballpark) math system in place for Alder's chronic fatigue/pain while she goes through dungeons, as a sort of Modified Long Rest System

^^ an example of me having figured out the times (not pictured was the titanic amount of bitching about the times my friends endured)

It is now much more lucrative to be a blacksmith OR Aldercaine got Breezehome extra cheap through blackmail (probably the first one though)

Happy birthday to @mellowscrolls ! You’ve been a grand help in pushing me with diversity in my art and fueling my fixations that I otherwise would have kept to myself. I still wonder why you latched on so heavily to half of what I’ve made, but the support has never faltered and the encouragement has helped me grow in my creative process tremendously. You’re a wonderful reference and source of inspiration. This gift barely encompasses the kind of support you’ve given me.

Drawing your girls was so very fun! Watching you develop their characters in WTS has been a joy, and I can’t wait to see where you take them. I hope you’re having a great birthday :]
