It’s been a surprisingly busy week given the pandemic circumstances. Today after my chiropractor’s appointment I headed to the old Art District to research on the neighborhood. Once I finished I was peckish and settled on Würstkuche on Traction Avenue and East 3rd Street across the street from the historic and culturally significant American Hotel. I ordered up the Duck, Bacon & Jalapeño dog with hot peppers and sauerkraut, Klein Fries, chipotle aioli and a draft Reissdorf Kölsch German beer. Once set up outside my order appeared with a joyous delivery. I asked for ketchup and my waiter handily brought it to my table. It dawned on my the chipotle aioli was for the fries but I did dab it in the dog then followed it with spicy mustard. It was a solid delicious meal. The duck bacon dog was masterful and it ended too quickly for my taste buds but my tummy was not stuffed. The Klein fries were meaty and wonderfully brown and mixed with with the aioli or ketchup. I switched it up for funzies. Once finished I headed back to the casa for early evening napish thing. @wurstkuche @arts_district_la @dtlaweekly @dtlaphotogroup #dtlaartsdistrict #dtlafood #wurstküche #hotdoggourmet #selfie (at Wurstküche) https://www.instagram.com/p/CZgb4I7LY9V/?utm_medium=tumblr
