there is one virtual singer nobody recorded. not a single human ever stepped into a booth for her. she was just a text to speech engine somebody put inside a free program in 2008 and called a singer. and somehow that was enough. because she ended up in arcade games, in meme voices, and in a song millions of people cried to without ever knowing her name. this is the episode i owe her.
