Oh nothing, just sitting here writing my article for the Yellow Jacket so I can tackle my other homework.
(Including making a study guide and studying for my Monday midterm in film history and working on a presentation for my international studies class!)
Oh! I finally got my copy of the Little Shop script.
I have to go through and read it, making notes of what ideas I have for sets/effects/etc. Might end up doing sketches of ideas of how things could look. We move into the theatre April 1, and show opens on the 16th of April.
April is looking hectic since I'm looking at the calender of events for the show alone. I'll have to speak with the professor to see which ones I have to be at, and if certain ones are just for talent or all crew, too. We don't have a very big crew, so lots more work for the ones involved.
It's going to be an AMAZING show. RJ Haddy is involved, he's making Audrey II, and when the crew spoke about it, it sounds like it's going to be AMAZING. I can't wait to see it to take pictures. Definitely getting cast photos with it, crew photos with it, and I'm hoping I can talk our director into letting me bring my daughter backstage when it's there after rehearsal to get a picture of her with it. How awesome would THAT be?
My assignment for International Cinema was a 3-5 page dissection on a foreign produced, foreign language film of our choice.
I'm already on page 6 and am having to drastically cut out other parts I was going to write/points i was going to make because otherwise this would be a 10+ page paper. The only professor who I've had so far that enjoyed my super long papers was my English professor.
Class tomorrow in the snow and cold.
But this is "spring" semester! Haha.
