She couldn’t help but stare. It wasn’t every day she saw a man in a red leather suit just walking down the street like it was no big deal. They would at least be shooting someone or causing trouble. He seemed to be looking for something but Harley couldn’t tell if this was a good or bad idea. Only one way to find out. 

Walking against the crowd, shoving one elbow at a time, she closed the distance quickly enough. “Hey there, Big Red. Somethin’ I can help ya’ with?”

Another day, another well done mission, and just another reason to jump into the soft bed and pass out. Sighing, Konani walked slowly up the stairs of her apartment building,just thinking about sleep and a good rest. The nimrods at work weren’t of much help, and with the idiotic agents getting shot all the time, she had her hands full of work. Nani stopped just at her door to pull out her keys, but as soon as she inserted it into the slot, she found it unlocked. In alarm, the medic pulled out the gun she was keeping in her jacket, a .40 S&W. Making sure that it was ready to fire, she opened the doors and slowly walked into her place, finding it in a state of disarray. Clothes haphazardly thrown around, junk food covering the tables, boxes of eaten pizza over the floors. “Hello?!” Yelling out, she rose the gun into position, waiting to see who was invading her home.

The sickening feeling in her stomach began to pass, a cold pack resting on the back of her neck as Margaret tried her best to cool herself down after another treatment of chemo. Fortunately the drugs allowed her to keep her hair, but the rest of her body suffered as a result. Having lost so much weight, Margaret was skinnier, the muscle mass lost in her toned figure as she looked a little paler. But it did not succumb to the pure anguish of the other side effect to being treated...

She lost her sight...again.

Gone forever with no chance of coming back. She inevitably only leaves her apartment now to go to her treatment and returns back, locking the door behind her to ensure no one of the Avengers, the X-Men, or anyone else that she knew would get in. She did not want to see anyone...she did not want help or pity from anyone...

She could no longer help anyone...she was of no use anymore.

The blind doctor silently cried in her chair, closing her eyes in grief to an already dark world as she continued to try and cool down.

Uh - pretty much anything besides country? (Well and a few mainstream pop songs - not a huge fan of T. Swift) I have a really eclectic taste in music and - usually - as long as the song has a good beat I’m pretty much down for it. Got everything from classical symphonies/instrumentals to SOAD and Nicki on my playlist.

My favourite bands/artists at the moment have to be Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Siouxsie Sioux, Dead Mans Bones, Missy Elliot, & M.I.A.
