There’s a post about Zayn bruising his hands over the years. In 1D and after 2015. Usually when bullshit (stunts with the beards and in this particular day, I think it was connected with some ‘leaving the band’ news) happens. We all know they used to know things beforehand. This was in October of 2014. After that date, all the upcoming interviews were more awkward than usual. Imo they already knew some shit would happen with them regarding Zayn leaving. He “missed” some fan events, some interviews. He “missed” the Today Show interview. He “arrived” in last minute for the tv special performance. There were rumors about Paul Higgins leaving the band because of Zayn. These lies were already part of the plan of Zayn leaving the band (the “difficult” one). But imo it wasn’t to be something permanent. The way the shows from OTRAT were scheduled, Zayn was supposed to come back in June 2015. That was the first plan. If Zayn asked to leave, or if 1DHQ thought ot4 could handle it without him until the end of 2015, because of the support the band had (and the hate Zayn got), it’s something for discussion, but imo Zayn wouldn’t leave the boys even if that costed him. Only them understand what they’ve been through, and because of that I think Zayn would have waited more 9 months till the hiatus. Of course, he was drowned in the constant mismanagement, the erase of his Muslim side (there’s a reason why his beards are blonde), fake relationships, being away from his family. But they were all in the same boat and I think Zayn was and is resilient af and would handle a little bit more. He didn’t have the right of leaving in his own terms. He did what he could to show his love back in 2015, although the fandom ignored. Until the moment he had to choose if he wanted to have a solo career. And to have that, the best thing for 1DHQ was to continue to push Zayn x 1D. With this fandom, full of (low-key racist) haters, it was and IT IS easy af. 1DHQ (Simon Cowell, Syco, Modest Mgmt, Sony) are EVIL. Before blaming ot4 for Zayn’s erase, blame 1DHQ. Stop with the silly thought that they were free to do what they wanted. Every act of “rebellion” had a consequence. 1DHQ owns the right for their public image. It seems they gave Zayn all the opportunities for him to be a successful solo artist, but the reality is that, with the exception of his music, he had to give up his freedom, and a lot of money. NO ONE. No one leaves a contract without consequences. Simon Cowell wasn’t nice enough to hook Zayn up with RCA and let him leave to be “free and happy”. People believe that Zayn telling that 1D wasn’t what he liked in a interview, is to be free to say what he wants. Besides the music (thank God his artistry wasn’t touched. Well, that we know), what freedom Zayn has? Being mia is not freedom, is his only weapon against them. Doing the bare minimum to NOT help the official narrative, but being sold as a product anyway (zigi’s pic for British Vogue), just like when he was in the band.
