My headcanon is that after the documentary crew leaves, Viago, who thought it was all so fun, begins keeping a video diary.

Stu shows him how to use a simple camcorder.

He introduces himself at the beginning of every entry, even though it’s meant for himself.

The first hour or so of recording is him sitting awkwardly trying to think of something to say to the camera.

He tries to get Deacon or Vlad to ask him “interview questions” but they won’t.

Anton, fortunately, is pretty eager to please and has the exact take-charge personality to ask interview questions.

Eventually Viago is able to make his own entries, mostly about how nice Anton is.

I finally finished Wellington Paranormal so I scrolled the tag for a bit and I don't see anyone saying it so I'm gonna say it. It becomes increasingly clear as the show goes on that Parker has a massive crush on Sarge. Maaka, which, good for him. However, s04e05 in particular really set off some... Interesting alarm bells lol. We get some particularly unhinged and horny-coded comments from Parker: "I wanna get used by you *significant pause* /completely..." Maaka as always is Not Into It and sends Parker off to his new partner, which clearly upsets him. Parker then starts obsessively commenting about how all his partners end up dying, while also making it clear he was only interested in paranormal stuff. And then of course, the new partner ends up dying and Parker is back with Maaka in the next ep, practically cuddling him in a few scenes.

Now, the uncomfortable death comments and general tactlessness could just be chalked up to Parker being Parker, but something felt off about the whole thing. Like, Parker clearly disliked the guy, constantly got his name wrong, even actively bullied him. My theory is this: Parker keeps killing off his partners so that he can be the odd one out and thus the one that Maaka calls on when he needs an extra hand. This might be intentional - if it is, I suspect doing it by either weaponizing the incompetence he's known for and creating/ contributing to situations so that his partners will end up dying one way or another. Or, it might be a more subconscious thing - in which case maybe he has some sort of supernatural power that he's unknowingly using to cause "accidents". I say it's a subconscious thing for this scenario because if he knew he had this power/ knew how to use it he'd probably use it for more than some occasional murder. I'm super bummed that s4 is supposed to be the last season because I would LOVE an unhinged murder gay Parker arc.

you can't do a crossover between the TV What We Do In The Shadows and Wellington Paranormal because quite apart from the fact there is no reason on earth for police officers from Wellington to turn up in Staten Island, if Karen O'Leary and Guillermo were onscreen at the same time there would be too much cuteness, I couldn't manage
