World War Spring Break - Day 6

Dear Alexander,

I feel absolutely horrible. Practice was awful and now I am ill from everything. It reminds me of when we first went into our relationship. Funny isn't it? Not really though. My throat burns with every bit of food I eat. I can hardly breathe or stay awake right now. I am so sorry for being terrible and not replying as much as I should. I do miss you so much. I want you back, but only four more days until your return and I am joyous at the thought. Home life is awful and my parents are being unfair as per usual though. I love you, Alex. World War Spring Break - Day 2

Dear Private Alexander,

Day two without you. Classes without a word from you go on begrudgingly. I keep myself distracted by writing notes for you or even reading back on old messages you've given me. They're quite cute, you know. I failed my Statistics Test. Got a 84% on it. I am sure that the same shall come from my Limits tests.

How is Florence or Rome, where ever you are? You mentioned you got trenchfoot? ( LOL. ) I'm sorry. No matter what, Alex, I'll still love you all the same. If you had a cane for your whole life, I'd be sure to walk with you proudly, smiling into your eyes. I suppose that such things do not matter to me. Yet, I'll make this brief. At the moment, I sit here, penning a letter to you that will hopefully make it by the time of your return.

I must be off. Dinner awaits me. I am happy to hear your voice again, Alex.
