Resolution/ Contest #1: Hair Trends 2012
The New Year always takes us to rethinking the year that was and gives us an opportunity to reinvent ourselves. We say it starts from within but the truth is, we find it IN ourselves to do so when see a physical change, like a jump start! That is why a hair trend forecast is so important so that we know that the style we want is also up-to-date and a truthful mark of "improvement". Let me summarize some that I've gathered from my favorite international titles and blogs such as Harpers Bazaar, fashionising.com and the trendiest city in the world -- New York from it's Spring 2012 Fashion Week: The New Wave For those looking into growing their hair long, 2011 has brought a new way of keeping your tresses down. Rebonding and relaxing aren't the only ways to wear a stylish long mane. We already have permanent blowdry and treatments that make hair bouncy, literally allowing us to wake up to an out-of-bed look. 2012 says we should keep the long tresses flowing so easy buns that unravel loose waves or super long hair extensions are your key pieces this year! TIP: most girls go for straight hair right off the bat THINKING their face is too round. Think again. Long locks, even if they're wavy can still elongate your face. Already have a long face but still want long hair? That's alright. The right cut or layers of your long hair can soften your chin so you don't have to be too conscious about it.

Rock n Roll For those who want to chop off 2011's karma, a mod bob or a piece-y pixie cut will definitely rock your world this year. If you want to keep your length and just wear a change, bangs come in angles now or length so you don't have to scratch off "wearings bangs" on your hairstyle list just because your forehead is too tiny.

You know how you already hate dying your hair in a certain color even if you love it because you hate having to recolor your roots? That is now a thing of the past! The ombre trend is fast moving where the darker hues start from the roots and the lighter ones are placed in the ends. This adds a new glow around the face, a different version of bounce and layer while conveniently keeping it easy to maintain and wear the color longer precisely because the darker hue is nearer the roots. If you're just up for something fun and exciting, a colored streak somewhere in your mane is also trendy these days.

ought to be kept well-groomed to get a great head-start for anything you can absolutely think of! Eyebrows define the proportions of your face so proper threading should be on top of your grooming list aside from a proper manicure and pedicure.
