It turned out to be a fine day across Northern Mississippi with most folks reaching the mid 50s. Since this afternoon, the clouds have rolled back in and light rain is moving into west MS. Currently it is still too dry at the surface to have any measurable rain, but after midnight that will change. Here is a future radar projection from midnight - 8AM produced by the HRRR.

After mid morning tomorrow, rain should begin to sink south of the US82 corridor, but sun will stay hidden as clouds will persist through the day. More rain will move back into Northern MS by the evening time tomorrow night. Rain amounts should generally be light with maybe up to 0.50″ by tomorrow evening across the counties near Tupelo.
Tonight: Rain, lows in mid 40s, winds light
Tomorrow: Rain in the morning, followed by cloudy skies for the rest of the day. Highs in the mid 50s, winds light.
