2 hours of long flight had ended. Now, Lightus arrived at the most spectacular spot for summer vacation in the whole world, or at least it seemed to her that way.
“Alohaaaaa!” She stretched arms up, loosened her tired muscles from all that waiting in the sky. Letting out a great sigh, she knew that she didn’t come here for sunshine and beaches, but her work instead.
Investigating strange phenomena, powers, technics,... and exploiting leads to Talon, that was her mission.
A mission file sent to her said that: “Pyrokinesis has been spotted on this sacred land of volcano. It had been reported that a group of juvenile deliquent had their leader possessing this power. Their identity is still a question mark.”
Sliding up the light-pad, sipping some berry juices while waiting for her luggage to be returned, she looked around the station. Totems, leaf skirt, key chains,... many shops sold various kinds of souvenir.
“Maybe i will buy one when i finish my work here.” She happily stared at those things for a while, unaware of the mischievous eyes of a tanned boy lurking in a corner. Like a flash, the kid grabbed Lightus’s small bag and ran outside.
“What the ...??? Hey!!!!” That was a very fast boy. He caught her off guard, at the perfect moment when this amateur investigator was having a fun time adoring the goods. It was a surprise to her, and her luggage came just in a bad time.
“Please keep it for a while, can you? I have to get my bag back!” Hurrily and fussily did Lightus ask the staff. They seemed to be fine with it, but highly suggested her to leave it to the securities chasing after him. It would be dangerous for a foreigner to roam on this island.
But she ignored them and ran to the door anyway. In her stolen bag, a device connected to her hairpin could be used to track it. She turned on her visor, the map appeared on the screen with that light dot as a symbol of the device.
A warm up jogging for a beginning of her mission. That was just her being ironically optimistic.
