The Eyes And The Ears. | Megara & Hercules.
Megara inspected her nails closely as Hades sent another piece of greek pottery flying past her, smashing into a nearby column. "WE. WERE. SO. CLOOOOSE!" He yelled profusely, his brightest of red flames burning and flickering off of his body. A while ago, this kind of temper tantrum would have well and truly scared the sandals off of Meg - but she had become so immune to his anger that it didn't even make her look up or flinch anymore. His little minions Pain and Panic on the other hand scrambled around trying to find other pottery to hand to their soul leader, who just so happened to be the God Meg was indebted to. After the predicted momentary silence Hades sat in, his mind working out where he went wrong; why the Hydra was simply the wrong creature to send out to fight Hercules, he returned to his cooler shade of blue and approached Meg, his typical wicked grin spread across his features.
"What now?" She muttered, glaring at her owner. "Well. A deal's a deal, babe. You're doin' no good just waiting around here for.. Ya know, my next big plan..I need you to be my eyes and ears while I'm down in the underworld scheming my next big..." The lord of the Underworld paused in thought, scratching his chin. "...Undefeatable move if this taking-over-Mount-Olympus thing is gonna work. Let's be honest. Pain and Panic can't get me the kind of information you can sweet cheeks." Meg scoffed and folded her arms, "Sounds like Wonderboy is potentially undefeatable." She teased, knowing it bought on another explosion of anger, as she exited the forest to the echo of a loud bang and ash falling around her.

Brushing her auburn locks out of her vision, Meg peered into the arena Hercules was training in. The familiar voice of an aggressive, encouraging Phil was heard and she couldn't help but feel a lopsided smile grow on her face. Something about this guy made her satisfied he had escaped the wrath of Hades - so far. Something inside of her wanted him to survive the Lords antics and be the biggest hero of all time - the same something made her unbelievably happy to see Hercules pry from the grasp of the hundred-something headed Hydra. Meg shook her head and graciously slid into the training arena, clapping slowly. "Well done Wonderboy. I didn't think you had it in you. I thought you were a goner." She commented, ignoring the immediate glares she received from Phil and Pegasus.
