I sent the Goths on vacation for summer break. Since Sebastian had recently argued with his father, which led to Beau voicing his concerns to his husband and them fighting, I was excited to see how this would play out.
Bianca and Wyatt are all grown up too
“You’ve been unnecessarily harsh on him, Wyatt, can’t you see that? It took him breaking down and shouting at you for you to reflect on your actions!”
“And you’re a saint now, huh? You’ve never had the chance to step up and tell me you’re against my parenting choices?”
“You’ve always ignored my complaints.”
“That’s a lie, it’s just a lie... You didn’t think it was a problem. You probably even liked it that you had some free time at home because Sebastian was helping with our children. That’s no thanks to you, it’s thanks to me! I raised our son to be dutiful.”
“You raised him to be a robot! Honestly, it baffles me that you can’t realize you’re wrong.”
“Again, you act like you haven’t lived under the same roof as me and him for all these years. Poor, helpless Beau... He couldn’t do anything to help his suffering son...”
“Fuck you, Wyatt.”
Wyatt and Beau wanted Sebastian to be educated and cultured in several areas of knowledge. They taught him geography, art, music, math, literature and so on, giving him all the tools he needed to be an exemplary child.
Thinking that he was allowing Sebastian too much playfulness, he imposed a stricter routine on him, got rid of his cat sweater and replaced his outfit with a more serious one. Also, he ordered him to wash all his clothes, so that he would learn the meaning of responsibility.
Beau tried talking to his husband, seeing that he was being too hard on their son. Knowing him since they were teenagers, it was shocking that Wyatt, who had always loved parties and fun, would act this way with his child.
However, Beau didn't succeed on making Wyatt change his mind, neither did he find out the reason behind his behavior.
Beau and Wyatt’s wedding was amazing. Wyatt amazed everyone with his skills on the piano, Aida looked amazing as their groomsmaid (?), and Beau made all the guests feel comfortable and joyful.
They looked odd under the wedding arch, but that’s okay, it happens sometimes. Cole almost died of hypothermia, but he came back inside soon enough.
Brandi cried. She was so emotional: happy and sad at the same time. When Beau asked, she answered half of the tears were of joy, because her son had gotten married, and the other half were of sadness, because he wouldn’t give her grandchildren. He gave her a puzzled look and chuckled: “mom, it’s not like there’s only one way of having children. Of course I will.”
Dina, on the other side of the groom’s mom spectrum, was the proudest and happiest for Wyatt. She’d been making sure he was happy since the day he was born, and now he didn’t need her help anymore. She was glad he had someone like Beau to take care of him.
And last, but not least, a picture of the very happy husbands.
Soon enough, they were discussing their plans of having babies. Beau brought it up, of course (he had no wishes of having one or adopting, which is super weird for a Family Sim who’s just gotten married, but okay), and Wyatt suggested a surrogate mother.
Below, pictures of the happiest fathers with their son, Sebastian.
