In June of 2005 I took a group of students to Stonington, Maine, where one of my former students lives. We sketched, painted, told stories, laughed—it was great! We made a field trip to the Farnsworth Museum in Rockland to see a Jamie Wyeth exhibit. Imagine our delight when one of my youngest students at that time (she was 12 I think) Michaela Dudley pointed out that Jamie Wyeth himself was there giving a tour to sone students. He invited us to tag along, which of course we did. No photos but some sketches and notes from that day and our time on the magical island.
