ohh but thats it with wyll isnt it? he detests his appearance so much, he thinks he looks like a monster, when really, hes every bit the handsome devil as you can tell him he is.

but i think, perhaps over time, tav slowly starts helping him not only accept his appearance, but love it. its little things here and there -- a pretty earring, as crimson as his eye, to dangle daintily from his earlobe. a cuff, showing off the new point in a beautiful gold that shines against his skin artfully. and eventually, when he's comfortable enough, tav begins buying him horn jewellery. little baubles to elaborate headpieces, the point is to show them off, to highlight their regality. and maybe, just maybe wyll can look at his reflection again and not see a monster. maybe one day he can look at his reflection and see a person who is so, so loved.

he spent seven years travelling through the muck of faerun, of the hells. he broke his back defending anybody and everybody, his needs be damned. to be taken care of in such a frivilous way, with no practicality behind it, just a show of love, thats what wyll deserves.
