same only i am yet to go to my seaside house and i know how it feels when you have to go back home

but at least it's next to the sea! that must be nice! :') this is basically a small town in the south where the heat's even worse and i have no friends here because i have nothing in common w/ the people of my age here so i've basically been with my laptop all 4 weeks xD

didnt read what you wrote up there for fear of spoilers but i was gonna ask today my dash why no one’s talking about elysium and have people seen it and if it’s good

i saw it twice already.. so... *hides*

it certainly does have flaws. i won't point out just so you could judge for yourself. and it's not as emotionally intense as District 9.

but the visual style, and the whole allegory-in-sci-fi-wrapping thing is there and I enjoyed it ridiculously. Jodie Foster is super cool, and Sharlto Copley is ~suddenly such a convincing villain who's also so much fun that you almost feel guilty, because his character has not even zero morals, but... somewhere below zero.
