Since I drew Knuckles' parents I've also had an idea for a redesign for Knuckles' stepdad Wynmacher and his half-brother baby Kneecaps.
Honestly didn't know what to do with Wyn's outfit. The one in the comics just looks so weird, and the only normal-ish one I can find is just another bathrobe looking thing. So idk I just went with a really simple outfit. Mostly just wanted to change up his fur colour and hair(quill?) style. Went with more browner tones for him, and Kneecaps too, tho he leans a little more towards the reds still.
Kinda wish we got to see more of the family dynamic between him, Lara-le and Kneecaps. Especially wanted more of Knuckles getting to experience what real functional family is actually like, considering how Locke stole him away from his mum as a toddler, made him believe she was dead, then straight up abandoned him at just 10 years old! Seriously, Lara-le and Knuckles deserve a chance at a happy family after all they've been through!
