My mom woke me up at 8:20 to talk to me about cql. As it turns out, she’s hooked. At 4 a.m., she couldn’t sleep, and managed to figure out two huge reveals correctly (she’s on episode 35): 1. The brand scar on lwj’s chest, which matched wwx’s, was self-inflicted. 2. A-Yuan didn’t die.

A round of applause for her being fifteen times more observant than I was, first of all. And another round for indoctrinating more people into our little mdzs cult.

It’s utterly hilarious, to me, how much my mom has discredited Nie Huaisang. This morning, she asked me to teach her Jin Guangyao and Lan Xichen’s names, because she guessed they’d be important. When my dad pointed out Nie Huaisang, she basically said, “He’s not important! He doesn’t know anything.”

Oh...just you wait. Fan-boy is not my favorite character for no reason.

Wrote over a thousand words today on In Shadow. Not technically a high number, but it’s a lot more than I’ve been able to manage recently. It’s gonna be another longer one, I think, because I don’t want to just put all my sappy yunmeng siblings and wangxian stuff in its own chapter between other, more “important” things.

Also screw foreshadowing, okay. I hate this. Why do I keep having ideas for long fics? They’re so hard~

I’ve gotten three comments on three different fics today, I feel great. I promise guys, I’m trying to update!! Once I take finals on Tuesday, things will hopefully get better. I appreciate all the support, and there is more Ningyu in the works for sometime in the next few days!!
