Yes, this was definitely still the future. The time portal made sure to let him know that by throwing him out into the middle of a busy street. Acute senses almost took over themselves as Jack hopped onto a moving car, then another. Hopscotch in traffic was a very dangerous thing but he made it look easy until he tripped and was almost run over by a semi. Rolling out of the way, Jack ended up on a street corner where a small group of people began to stare down at him thinking him for dead. Thankfully, cars weren't something Jack was easily killed by. He grabbed the closest person to him to help him up before resting a hand on their shoulder so he could catch his breath.
