Will you still love me tmw… plz make a part two where Steve suffers and reader flourishes ❤️
I will think about, I'm honestly amazed at how well it's done in under 12 hours, it was a rewrite of a series I started on here called this is how it feels, but I removed it because it didn't do very well. I might post a second part once I've written Eddie smut. Thank you so much for reading it.

Word Count: 1013
The Apocalypse. What the hell was Dean supposed to do with the damn apocalypse looming over his head. He barely kept his head above water with the 66 seal business and all the lying Sam did behind his back leading to him trusting Ruby, slaying Lilith, and busted Lucifer out of his cage. A demon wore Bobby as a meat suit and now he was stuck in a wheelchair. Castiel was now a fugitive angel. And everything seemed to be falling apart around him. He and Sam put on a show for Bobby, but he just couldn’t trust Sam. Couldn’t bring himself to do it. Not after Sam chose Ruby over family.
So now he was alone. His thoughts floated around in the past more when he was alone. To happier places and simpler times. Especially the Summer he met you. You were a firecracker. Beautiful, and even with that cast on your leg he was sure you could have whooped his ass. The nights of stolen kisses and watching the stars meant the world to him. When you went back to school, he would sneak you out of classes some days just to go on drives.
After you graduated high school, you both started hunting together. You had seen him through some of the roughest times, including when Sam ran off to Stanford. You didn’t put up with John the way Dean did, and it was nice to have a safe place to go, even if that place was just in your arms. You both did a great job keeping the love alive during fights, hunts that dragged you both to opposite ends of the country, and even after John died, you were there. Always present. Until…well…
Dean felt his phone vibrate inside his coat pocket. He sighed, setting his beer down on the bedside table of his tiny motel room. It was Bobby.
Home from the hospital. Thought you might want to know where to find my body if I die.
Dean ran his finger across his face and through his hair. It was his fault Bobby was like that. His fault that everything was crumbling down around him and there was nothing he could do about it, but maybe he should at least go be there for Bobby. Maybe find some more cases. Do some more good before the end.
On my way. Don’t drop dead before I get there.
The impala rumbled and roared as Dean approached Bobby’s place. He noticed the closer he got that a plume of smoke billowed from the grassy area behind the house. At first he feared it was the house, but as he pulled up right next to the porch, it was evident that it wasn’t the house on fire, but something behind it. He put the impala into park and made his way into the house.
“Bobby? Where you at Bobby?”
No answer. Dean shuffled his way back out the front door, his footsteps heavy as he went down each step, and moved towards the back of the home. His hand was trained on his gun. He maneuvered around all the salvaged cars with the flawless caution of a trained and skilled hunter until he made it to the back fence. He carefully pushed the metal fence door open and stepped into the field behind the house. Then he saw it. A pyre. A hunters pyre just about a hundred yards from the house. Two figures were in front of it. One of them was Bobby in his wheelchair. The other was all too familiar. He felt his breath hitch.
‘Y/N.’
Dean dropped his hand from his gun, shoved his hands in his pockets, and moved towards the pyre. Neither figure seemed to notice, or care that he was approaching until he found himself standing beside you. He hadn’t realized just how much he missed you until you took in all the curves of your face. The way your jeans and leather jacket hugged your form so nicely. Your scent mixed with the smell of the pyre. It was faint, but it smelled like home and passion and the dozens of other things he missed about you.
The tears in your eyes cut him deeply though. He looked down at the pyre and noticed not one, but two bodies were laying there. It didn’t take a genius to figure out who it was. Mark and Magdalena. Your parents. The wedding rings hanging around your neck gave that away too.
Dean didn’t know what to do, so he waited in silence. Hands still in his pockets. Watching as the fire continued to burn for another 15 minutes before the wheels on Bobby’s chair started squeaking. Dean turned towards the old man. Bobby simply shook his head before turning around, patting you on the arm, and heading back towards the house. Once he was out of earshot, Dean decided now was as good a time as any to speak up.
“Y/N, I am so sor-”
“Don’t. I don’t want to hear it.” The hurt behind your words felt needles pricking into his heart. He know he deserved to feel this way after everything, but he still loved you. Always had. Always will. And seeing you shattering on the inside and the tears spilling out, it was almost unbearable.
“Y/N. Please. Hear me out.”
You turned towards him, fury in your eyes. “If you so much as say one word to me while this pyre is still going I will stab you with my hunting blade. You haven’t earned the right to say anything to me right now. Go back to the house with Bobby. I want to be left alone so I can say goodbye to my…to my…” the final word didn’t spill out of your mouth, but you turned back around. Your attention fixed on the flames. And Dean took the hint, tears beginning to sting in his own eyes, and left you alone to watch as your parents turned into ashes.
Let me know if you want a second series of WYSLMT set when they are adults
Although I am writing an epilogue, I seriously have ideas for a second series if there is interest for it. I have had a few people ask so I am definitely leaning towards yes. I even have a title and everything.
I actually fucking finished WYSLMT Part 8! Woohoo. I was so nervous I wouldn’t finish it. I debated how to end this part. I could have continued further as this is a tad short. That being said, when you read it I think you will understand that I cut it off at the right spot.
After this is the finale everyone. I can’t believe this series is almost over. I said I will post it at 8PM, but since the edit is done. I will post it at 6:30PM. Now to cry and eat my dinner.
