HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO TAMBOURINE
i need to catch up on your fics but i am chin hands about trans fem gerry. i remember you talking about it before but id love to hear any new or updated thoughts :0
some of it would be spoilers for the PBR epilogue so i'm going to keep that to myself until then, but! ultimately i just was thinking about the fact that he uses she/her pronouns and enters Girl Mode in his happiest moments, his most intimate and vulnerable moments with people he trusts to love him, and what that says about his actual state of being outside of those moments. it means he's not fully happy or comfortable, there's something holding him back, which i've gathered is a fairly common feeling.
he's still got an attachment to being A Son specifically it's just rooted in his being but look me in the eyes and tell me that ever made him feel safe in his own body or head or surroundings. y'know? there's spoiler territory there with that part of the discussion though so heehee.
20, 42, 58, 72?
20. favorite type of baked goods? are they good at baking?
i dont think they are picky about baked goods lmao they will eat All and Any. but i think they like a good good loaf of bread like a good sourdough loaf with some added flavors. im making my fav bread archies its a garlic parmesan sourdough made from a bakery not far from fix's work that they go to all the time.
they are not a good baker mostly bc thats not really something they've gotten to try much before tbh. that would be a luxury skill and not very practical but i think. they'd Love to if they got the chance
42. whats the most ridiculous thing they've ever spent money on?
hmmmmmmm they have not made a lot of ridiculous purchases before tbh mostly bc again. until recently they didnt super have the opportunity to? but i think after they completed their first score and made money they Did buy themself something just. Goofy. not something super expensive but they were in a market and bought just like. a cute little figurine. maybe of like. the reverie lighthouse or another landmark that 90% of the people in reverie would thing is tacky and obvioisly just for tourists but they keep it on their shelf and they honestly love it a Lot just bc like. they bought it for them and it serves no practical purpose but its cute and they made the choice to buy it and have it and look at it Yknow
58. most emberassing situation they've ever experienced?
hmmmm. archie is someome who will do just about anything so i dont think they are emberassing by like. i am a fool in front of these random people. i think a lot of the stuff they feel very emberassing about are related to their bad social skills like they tried to tell a friend something heartfelt ad fucked it up So much they thought they were mad at them lmao
72. feelings on spicy food?
they Love it but have a low tolerance for it lmao they are working on building up their spice tolerance
ty!!!!
12 and 22 for the art asks?
12. show us an old drawing
went through some old sketchbooks for this and while most of it will never see the light of day, here's a self portrait that was coincidentally done almost exactly four years ago! i remember being so proud of it at the time
also honourary mention to this because it gave me a good laugh
22. what inspires you
other artists, a lot of the time! i'll see a friend's art or come across something on tumbr/twitter/pinterest etc and find something in it that i really want to try out. also the media i happen to be consuming at any given time inspires a lot of my things–the majority of the art i do is fanart
okay i literally got an eyebrow piercing yesterday and its great but also i walked home and my face started bleeding like a block away and just. walked home looking like i just got into a fight and it was so funny ehdbd

i adore your tief!! shes so pretty omg. but also, as a heads up, img descriptions should come directly after the image/before the caption. that way, people who rely on them understand posts in the same order as everyone else.
Hey thanks! I'm glad you like her!!
I hope you don't mind me publishing this also, if so lmk and I'll delete it, but I just want to see if others have anything to add re: the image descriptions? Obviously if this is a big issue then I'm happy to change the way I do it, my main worry & the reason I do it in this order rn is that the engagement level on my posts is already really low (in general but especially atm with the amount of original content I'm posting), & I feel like putting a big chunk of text below the image makes it way more likely for people to just skip over it :')) I'm just curious as to what the general consensus is on that, i.e. if it's a best practise thing that doesn't make much difference overall or if it's something very important I need to fix?
