Bard reached over to grab his phone out of the console between the seats, sparing his attention between the road and his phone as he went through his contacts to find the number for his newest employer. Hitting the little phone icon next to the name "Prick", he tapped for the speaker to be turned on to help make his drive a little easier. As the phone rang, he managed to set it in the travel carrier hooked up to his vent that he rarely used.

The line stopped ringing as it was picked up, Bard not waiting for a greeting before he started to talk. "I went to the bank and did what you asked. Everything is transferred. And before you ask, yes, I did pick up your damn hamburger." he grumbled.

Winter stirred in his sleep as he heard movement in his room. Turning towards the sound he blinked until his eyes adjusted and he saw the outline of a familiar dark form. 

"M'lord...?" He mumbled sleepily. "M'lord... come to bed, there's plenty of room..."
