Hiiii hello! Soo Im rewatching The Clone Wars and decided to read "Will you walk with me" again and I just want you to know that I ADORE it and I love your works in general, thank you for bringing this masterpiece into our wretched existence !!! You know at the end it feels like you've been through a whole LIFE with these characters and you just cant help but love them and cry for them and cry with them. I love this kind of literature when you spend a lot of time with the characters and kinda grow with them?? I hope when Im done with my uni deadlines *looks at a burning pile in the corner of the room* I'll be able to draw some fanart or something. Like... drawing is cool in its own way, but for me writing is really what's magical, the way you people do it is crraaazy and Im in awe! Sorry for the messy ask its 1 am here and I cant see my keyboard haha:D Your writing is amazing!!! And your blog too

I melted into a puddle and ran down the drain into the sea, and I still feel like I don't have words for an adequate response 🥺🧡 Several people—especially @lizardberries—have contributed to the big AU that WYWWM is a part of, so I really can't take full credit, but aahh thank you so much!!! I'll be honest, I've been feeling very discouraged by the toxicity of fandom in general these days, and outside of the W*B server, I haven't been sharing much of what I make lately. Hi yes I’ve been slowly working my way through WYWWM and Maam you’re KILLING ME and I am at work today and my arm hurts like hell Bcs I got a tattoo yesterday and I want to be reading about boil and waxer instead BUT NO I HAVE TO WORK TWELVE HOURS TODAY INSTEAD when I just wanna curl up in my chair and cry with a glass of wine while reading your AMAZING story and looking at your art. Your art cones out of left field and Punches Me In The Chest every goddamn time and I refuse to read it on my phone Bcs the art deserves to be viewed on a whole ass computer screen. I am so sorry for rambling I just love this fic so much and how it portrays everyone???? And how it makes commander cody and Obiwan seem so far away (idk if I’m saying that right) from just your average normal trooper is AMAZING because in the show we don’t really see that, we just see Obiwan and cody and other clones who are already close to the Jedi by the default of them being CO’s and high ranking and the way you write emotions??? And waxer running to help him calm down???? AMAZING. STELLAR. WONDERFUL. I love it and I get it because I am the exact same way. If I don’t get the energy out, my brain goes on the fritz. I just love this series so freaking much??????

Ahhh thank you so much! hf;dahf;dfhd I know I say this a lot, but I seriously thought like, three people might read WYWWM. Every time someone says they enjoy it I almost look over my shoulder like, "Are—are you talking to me...?" XD;

So glad you enjoy the images to go along with it! they were just my excuse to not be done with the story yet after I finished writing, haha.

No, that totally makes sense about Cody and Obi-Wan seeming far away! I very deliberately made Waxer and Boil (and their squad mates) regular old, run of the mill troopers in the beginning of the war because all the little, everyday things are a lot more interesting for me than Big Important Events™ :)

11: What do you like best about this fic? -- The gorgeous smut that is mostly @sophronist's doing 🥰 Haha but if we're talking about parts I wrote, then the confession scene :' )

12: What do you like least about this fic? -- I think the only thing that really bugs me isn't even related to the fic itself. I kind of wish I'd set it up better in Will You Walk With Me?, but that fic had very particular themes that I wanted to tackle and I didn't want the 'distraction' of overt romantic elements (not to mention the fact that I didn't even ship Waxer and Boil until I was already writing it XD). There's also a big time gap in the last chapter of WYWWM: scene two, when they're on Kamino and Boil tells Waxer about their decanting dates, takes place six months before scene three, when they get their ID cards and stuff. And the last scene is like two months after that, so there's lots of wiggle room for Waxer to start easing down from the stress levels of the war and start seeing certain things in a new light. There was already so much to cover with that chapter, though, and I didn't necessarily anticipate writing more about them after that. 🥺 Haha, sorry for the long ramble XD;

Hello! I love your series of art and stories about Waxer and Boil with my whole heart (because you see, they are Alive and Well, and the art is beautiful and the stories are so soft and kind). Can you answer a question? Do they have something in mind about what they are going to do when they are fully (more or less) settled?

Aw, thank you so much! They are definitely fine, and canon is a horrible fever dream.

Hm, I'm not sure they have any specific plans in mind? For so long they didn't even think they'd survive the war, and they just held onto this little hope of maybe going to see Numa again someday. So truly planning for the future is, I think, not something most clones would have a good handle on right after the war, you know? Their lives have always been day-to-day survival, so I feel like it would be strange, at first, to make concrete plans for next month, or next year.

That being said, I started writing all these little post-war stories because I was so sad about finishing WYWWM and just wanted to hang out with my faves some more, haha. :) So I have a lot of ideas for specific fics, and some overall themes, but I don't think Waxer and Boil (or Numa) have really thought too far ahead yet.

All of the post-war bits to the series (excluding the very old image with all the pets [ugh, I should really redo all their faces at some point, since I draw them less like they look in the show and more like they are in my head now] and the adorable associated fic that @crystalshard wrote) take place within the first 5-6 months after WB move to Ryloth, so it's still early days for them. <3

Hi yes i am, once again, in my WYWWM feelings. DEEP in my feelings crying over that series. Seriously I would pay like 30-50 dollars for it in book form and this is coming from someone who lives paycheck to paycheck, hand to mouth. It is, truly, a work of art and then the actual art pieces? They always manage to take my breath away like jumping into fifty degree water. Truly amazing, and truly astounding.

Hey yeah I just finished WYWWM and I need you to know I don’t think I’m ever going to emotionally recover from that. I mean my lord. I am just?????? I feel like I’ve been thrown out a sixty third story window. I just can’t with this fic. I am feeling too many things and I’m gonna cry all night??????? My lord. Never before has a piece of literature so throughly punched me in the face
