Matt was terrified about approaching his English professor, but after the second nearly failing paper he’d written, he needed to. Everybody else was shuffling out of the classroom and he hung back. He covered his hands with the sleeves of his sweater, soft in his balled fists and a little too large in general. It was the boy’s attempt to make himself look a little smaller despite his 6′3 stature. With a deep breath he finally stepped up to the desk. “Hallo, sir...may I speak with you?”

"No, no, is ok," Matt murmured, balling himself into his sweater again, well Cam's sweater. He'd taken it from the man's closet before they left, the shoulders were more broad than anything Matt owned and the arms were longer as well. It was perfect for holding between his fingers. "If you like, you should eat, and I eat others, yes?" While his written English had gotten better, his spoken did not.
