Hi, how do you do for translating comics? I'm considering translate X-Mickey (since the official translation did very little) but I've found the comic in pdf format, and I have no idea what to do later. Or you can just post a link for a tutorial if you have one. Thanks!

There are a few steps to scanlating comics. First you get your scans, which you’ve already done. Next, you’re gonna translate the dialogue balloon by balloon. Open up a writing program and write it all out. I use Google Translate combined with another site called Reverso Context to help me get the most accurate translations I can. Next, you need to revise the dialogue to better match the style you’re used to. In my case, that’s official USA Disney comics. Next, you import the comic into an image editing program (I recommend GIMP) then paint over the old dialogue and add in your new dialogue, then save each page as a new image. You can make it into a PDF from there and presto!

We've got to go back before we can go forward! XM introduced an antagonist in a side story who has made a couple reappearances in main stories. Even when the comics were being officially translated, these side stories were never published in English! So here's the story that character—Snobbs—was first introduced in. He plays a main role in XM 26-1 and XM 29-1!

Mickey attempts to travel to the Impossible for an explanation after Pipwolf leaves him high and dry with a new Guide.
