serious question for the fandom.

would you be interested in a bulletin-board style forum for fic, art, and general discussion? i love tumblr to pieces but i really miss having fandom-specific communities to hang out with other fans.

too often i feel like modern social media separates creators (writers and artists) from those who enjoy their work, and discussions get buried or isolated so people who would love to take part never even see them happening.

BBs were my intro to fandom, and it felt like hanging out at the mall - over here is the shipper court, that's where the fic writers hang out, there's the gillovny annex, there's the effigy of chris carter we light on fire once a month, this is where we scream into the night. everyone can talk to everyone, everyone can see what everyone is saying at a glance, and you can jump in or out of a topic at your leisure without worrying you've missed something.

it’s so funny being on tumblr in txf fandom with so many people who know so much background on the show and the actors but they don’t TELL you what they know they just say really cryptic sometimes ominous things in the tags like “this makes sense” WHY?? WHY DOES IT MAKE SENSE??? or “this checks out” HOW?? HOW SO?!?
