Number one rule of writing Odin x Reader stuff: he's gotta do some strange/out of pocket shit at least once!
When it comes to the descriptions of the reader insert I always make sure not to add any specific descriptions to their appearances. Sure, I'll mention them being a woman and having boobs and stuff like that, but nothing specific to their physical appearance. I make sure not to mention race, face shapes, body shapes, eye color, hair color - heck, I make sure not to mention the reader insert's hair too often. All of this is so I can make sure readers can insert themselves in easily, regardless of appearance.
Do I succeed in this? I think so, though there might be some instances here in there where I failed at that for all I know. Nonetheless, I'll keep it up with the ambiguity of the reader inserts appearance...unless if I get a request that requires me to be not-so ambiguous with the appearances (like a black reader or a tall reader)
...Though, I really gotta start getting out of my comfort zone eventually and start writing about AMAB/non female reader insert fanfics.
