A MHA x Gender Neutral!Reader fanfic
The cool rays of the sun kissed your skin as you got outside.
Ten minutes had passed since you went in.
Streetlights lit up the darkest of allies, scaring away crime. You started to trot towards your home, unraveling your umbrella and putting it against your shoulder blade.
You wonder if the couple from earlier was still there.
You checked the alley. Trash bags spewed onto the floor, emitting a foul odor. The couple–seemed to have been in a fight. A man laid onto the floor, his face almost touching the soles of your shoes. Blood dripped from his nose, the white of his eyes replaced where an iris was supposed to be, and a mouth that started to foam up.
However, the other, a girl that seemed to have been your age, was in pristine condition.
She wore a white and black middle school uniform (okay wow she's really young) and a crowbar rested in her pale hands...
Her eyes held no sympathy for the act she had committed. She looked straight at you, hands clutching tighter onto the weapon. "Is something the problem?"
You smiled, widely. "Who would have thought that a little girl like you could beat up a man?" you spoke, voice hidden with a sly tone. "So, why'd you do it?"
The girl started to tremble. Her eyes went glossy as tears waterfalled down. "He–He tried to assault me. I had no choice." Her breathing went erratic, wails bounced off of the cement walls as the crowbar dropped onto the floor, letting out a loud CLANG.
She fell to the floor, face cupped on her face to prevent the tears falling. Her jet pinned black hair slowly dropped from her shoulders.
You stood there, awkwardly.
You weren't exactly the best at comforting anyone, so you just stood there, showing that you at least would stay until she was ready.
You extended your arms forward, opening wide to embrace a crying girl.
She looked up to see you still there. Confusion sketched itself onto her face. "What the hell are you doing?" she asked, like swearing at a stranger was normal.
You lifted the edges of your lips, trying to offer a comforting smile. "You look like you need a hug."
The girl wept even harder.
You apologized to her, confused why she still cried. "Was it something I said?"
"Do you still need a hug?"
"I.....guess I do." She got up from her position and gave you a tight hug.
You felt oxygen excrete from your lungs. She let go from her, tears swept away from her face.
You looked back to the man on the ground.
Still foaming at the mouth.
You looked harder at the alleged dead man. His skin started to turn pale. You noticed that blood stopped flowing out of his noise, drying itself onto his face.
Yeah, he was most definitely dead
You looked at the black-haired girl then back to the corpse.
'We'll worry about him later,' you thought to yourself.
You spoke softly, "Do you want me to take you home?"
Rain poured down, hard. Thankfully, your umbrella blocked the onslaught of droplets. You felt a warmth on your side. The girl from earlier, who you called crowbar since she refused to tell you her name, kept inching closer to you.
Suddenly, she stopped. "You can drop me off here. My house is close by." Her tone felt firm, social battery clearly draining.
You grinned a little, hoping that she would soon recover. "Get home safe."
Crowbar treaded away, fatigue clouding inside her body. You waved to her, expecting no reply back.
The rain continued to mourn for the girl.
That day, something inside of her died.
A few weeks had gone by since you last saw her.
Your father turned on the TV.
A new serial killer is on the rise. Victims are often observed to be killed using a blunt weapon. One thing to notice, bodies are often discovered during rainfall. We bring in one witness to describe their appearance."
A brown-haired man walked into the screen and sat behind the counter. He looked disturbed, eye bags that could stretch for miles, and stature that made him look so timid.
"Hello, Mr. Ito. I appreciate you for coming out to talk today."
The man fidgeted with his fingers before replying, "You're welcome...I guess.
The woman sweated a little, "Well Mr. Ito, can you give a description on what the killer looked like?"
He hesitated before replying, "Ah...yes. The person wore a white raincoat and held some sort of long weapon. I wasn't able to tell what it was... They also had a clear umbrella with them.
The news reporter looked at him with intrigue. "I see. We're you able to see their face?"
"I'm sorry, I wasn't able to."
"There's no need for you to apologize. You were a victim too," she mentioned with a smile.
You turned the TV off with your remote. You chuckled a little.
"[Y/N], turn the TV back on. I wasn't done watching yet. We HAVE to watch that football game!"
Second chapter outttt let's go.
