how does my muse feel about love? about falling in love? about being in love?
Claire, passionately quoting moulin rouge:
Love is a many splendored thingLove lifts us up where we belongAll you need is love
Claire thinks that love is a great feeling. Of course, she likes to focus on the positive aspects of it rather than the negative ones. She enjoys seeing couples who truly love each other. She believes she can easily tell apart those who genuinely love each other and those who don’t. There are just some signs. There’s a certain fondness that installs itself after a while and you can’t fake that.
Falling in love is like going on an adventure. There will be ups and downs and moments where you will question what in hell you are doing, or why your stomach is doing that floppity thing it is doing whenever your crush is around. There will be days of sunshine, then rain, and maybe at the end of your journey you’ll meet a dead end, but at least you will have made some memories to cherish along the way. There’s also a chance of reaching your destination and discovering that the door that’s preventing you from going further is slowly being opened for you.
Being in love is great! How could it not be? Getting to share special memories and kisses with your favorite person? How could this not be completely fabulous? (again, she likes to focus on the good rather than the bad. That’s not to say that she ignores the bad completely or would let herself be mistreated). Her favorite thing about being in love is that so many things that used to not really matter suddenly become significant. You remember the smell of your partner’s shampoo, you notice how their palm fits in yours, etc.
