Warning: Romantic shit, cheesiness and overall embarrassment
What a weird person, he thought looking at the girl peacefully sleeping in front of him. It was 3 am and he couldn't sleep for an unknown reason. Heechul covered his mouth and kept his breathing as smooth as he could -- nothing could disturb her dreams. He felt his cheekbones raising under his fingers, in a dumb smile.
The room was big, and the windows even bigger, without any curtain or something to hide them from the annoying sunlight, or the cold street lights. And there she was, covered by infamous yellowish lights, his Jinri. Covered by parts of sheets and blankets, elegantly resting her head on an old pillow, absorbed in a parallel world. He could see her eyeballs move quickly under her lids, making her eyelashes flicker softly. Was she dreaming about him? About their life? Or was she in the middle of a nightmare? She inhaled deeply, making his curiosity grow. He'd never find out, even if she tell him every detail of that scenario, he'd never guess if it was good or bad.
His long fingers ran down her jawline carefully, making a brief pause on her chin and movng up to touch her lips. Since the first time they've met, he developed a fixation for her face. He couldn't get tired of her, even if he tried. She followed him through the worst places and situations, killed and risked her life for him... how could he let go of her? An angel, he wondered - and sometimes, he could even see her wings. He felt her warm legs in between his own, and he wouldn't bother to remain like that for a long, long time.
He took one of her hands and placed her palm oh his cheek, memorizing her features and her smooth touch before closing his eyes. He'd finally realized that her love held him like a pillar, and led him like those yellowish lights -- and from now on (in his own ways) he'd gladly show his gratitude.
