A very drunk Yasuo places his gourd on top of Sona's head carefully.
“…………..”
"So, you have any particular favorite drinks, miss?"
“Miss? Well ain’t you sweet.” Jorie chuckled, beckoning him over to a table to enjoy some drinks. ‘Miss’ was a far more savory name to be called compared to what other people opted to call her. Especially considering what she often wore to go day drinking.
At least this one had some respect for a woman.
“I’m pretty particular to rum, but it’s hard to find a drink I haven’t had.”
"Is that...me?" Yasuo seemed to have already saw himself on the pillow. His face went a slight red, seeming confused.
With all the strength her arms could muster, Sona threw the pillow into the sea.
He. Saw. Nothing.
"You uh...one of those Vastayas?"
She shifts uneasily from side to side, a hand on her opposite arm across her chest. Questions like that are proof to her that she doesn't fit in. Not yet, anyways. “It would be easiest for you to understand me as that, yes. I am... something of the sort.”
Although not always one to have others around, Yasuo did have a student, of the sort. Not exactly someone who uses the wind technique, but an elementalist who share similar philosophies he teaches. The ronin placed a hand on Taliyah's head, ruffling her hair a bit. "Hey, how's my favorite stone weaver?"
The hand on her head was startling, the stone weaver having been deep in a meditative trance, thinking mostly about her family, as she often wound up doing. The words registered slowly, but she turned her head upward to look at the ronin, a smile slowly forming on her face. “I thought you’d be gone a lot longer. Any luck today?”

"You...want to work with me? But to what are we dealing with? I'm not just gonna teach you these things without knowing what your intentions are." The ronin eyed the ninja carefully. What exactly she wanted to use such a powerful technique for is unknown to him, and as someone who knows the deadly use of its power, makes it hard for him to trust her. Especially ninjas, he didn't like their kind in particular.
“As long as you’re better than my previous master, then everything will go smoothly.”
This behavior was quite abnormal for Akali, her style usually involving her being a loner— but if she was being honest with herself, she had felt particularly hungry for human interaction as of late. Her old tricks were boring her and this was something that had intrigued her for quite some time. Stumbling upon someone as skilled as Yasuo was an opportunity that she didn’t want to pass up on. The two together would be an unstoppable pair, no matter how odd.
“I see you’re wary of my intentions.. a duo is much stronger than a solo act, swordsman. I understand if it’s hard to trust me. But I give you full permission to slice my throat if you think I’m plotting to betray you.”
"Watcha' got there, a pillow?"
If one’s spirit - nay - their very existence could scream sending a psychic wave throughout an area that is felt more than heard, such would be Sona in the moment.
