This book is featuring XLARGE: one of original streetwear brands from LA in 1990s. Total 241 featuring their 25 years brand histories including hundreds historical fashion items from 1991-Now. Must to see it among street fashion fans from the worldwide. Iconic for their gorilla logo, X-Large is established as one of the originals in streetwear clothing. Going 25 years strong X-Large continues to influence generations of streetwear culture worldwide into 2016. Beginning in the neighborhood of Los Feliz, on Vermont Street in 1991, Eli Bonerz & Adam Silverman opened the store X-Large. A store that would reflect their eclectic surroundings and urban Los Angeles street style. Following the opening the clothing brand quickly gained attention from all over even sparking the attention of Beastie Boy Mike D, who later became a partner for the brand. X-Large drew inspiration from work wear, vintage, and club scene aesthetics; to mid-century design, skateboarding and music influences and 25 years later there still at the top of their game. To kick off their 25th anniversary X-Large will release its xlarge-true-og-streetwear-book-02“True OG Streetwear” book. The book will tie in both Tokyo and LA roots, since the brand has a unique perspective regarding streetwear’s cultural evolution in Japan and the U.S., something that few streetwear brands can acclaim. The book will also be packed with imagery from classic original shoots, archival pieces and interviews with some of the brand’s influential figures. This book will be more of a history lesson of the brand from start to finish, giving their interpretation on the evolution of streetwear, and coming from a real OG in the business.
