Repost @drjaquish Being that I run multiple companies, and work with many people (I tell my employees they work with me, not for me), some are wondering how I stay in shape. How do I get workouts done, and get the proper nutrition in me with all this other stuff to do? The only reason they are asking these questions is because they haven’t read my book yet. They don’t realize that the standard advice that they have been given will never bring them to success, and will waste years of their time potentially. Now nothing in my book exists there for time convenience purposes, everything described is for the absolute optimal response of the body as we drive it to being stronger and leaner. It just so happens that the way to create the most optimized responses is fairly simple, and not time consuming. For physical training, I only use X3. This was previously a 10 minute workout per day, but as one becomes more muscular, rest times must increase. But no matter what, I do a set of an exercise, then, while I’m catching my breath, I am answering emails. So it still only takes 10 actual minutes, just broken up over, maybe 30 minutes. For nutrition, I take one supplement, pre-workout so that I get a tremendous amount of the most usable protein/amino acids, as well as glucose, so I am mediately replenish the glucose I use during the work out. then I only eat one meal per day, usually at a restaurant because I’m on the road so frequently. It hardly takes any time at all, most people just need to understand the principles laid out in the book, so they don’t make mistakes with food choices, which is the most important issue, when looking at future body composition. So, a straightforward work out with variable resistance gives me the most powerful stimulus to grow muscle, the fasted block of time gets me leaner/faster, and the one meal plus the supplement gets me all of the protein I need, so I can continue to grow at the maximum rate. @alexardenti photo #drjaquish #johnjaquish #x3bar (at Malibu, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CobKhDPrmOh/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
