▐ ░▒  Cecidit Angelus - Xai & Kiji

For the first time in a while, Kiji was actually getting a very interesting case. Apparently the lab had been able of tracking down this weird angel that was living among humans and, strangely, he had actually been killing some of them. The police had gotten involved in the case but because there was a supernatural being involved, the lab Kiji works for was called out to solve the problem. And of course who would be the one to get it done? None other than Kiji.

It didn’t take him long before he managed to get the pieces together, who the killer was, what he was and where he lived. The only thing left was the right timing for him to stop for a visit and do what he had to do.

And that time just happened to be that one night. Since the guy was a fallen angel, and he had never really fought against one, Kiji wasn’t exactly sure of what weapons he should use, so he decided to bring two guns and a blessed sword just in case. Being the slightly OCD guy that he was, he waited inside his car until it was midnight for him to actually start his mission, smoking a cigarette, staring at the big house and wondering why would someone like the fallen angel live in a place that was so big. As the clock struck midnight, Kiji threw his cigarette out the window and stepped out of his car, easily managing to pass through the house’s gates and walking in.

“Yo!” Kiji shouted, looking around to see if there was anyone nearby. He wasn’t exactly in the mood to walk around the place in search for the guy, so he just opened the front door and continued shouting. “Xander Xaphan! You’re under arrest!” He chuckled quietly after he said that, finding the whole situation amusing.

The distance appears to be more than physical - there is no attachment to the victim versus one within reach. There is the factor of having to dismount the rifle that is time-taking.

Chanyeol sighed opening his eyes. So much for a nap. “Damn, I must have forgotten to write it on my calendar,” he deadpanned, letting his feet fall from his desk with a thud before straightening in his seat. “What should we do to celebrate?” He gestured for the other to have a seat in one of the empty chairs across from him. “We could get a nun pregnant, or maybe we could start an Apocalypse? Oh, but you’re still into that whole good thing, aren’t you? That’s okay, we can just hold hands and sing kumbaya while eating some of those Catholic corpse crackers and drinking the Jesus blood wine. That’d be fun, right? Never say I wasn’t accommodating.” The sarcasm in the demon’s voice was so thick he could taste it.

“At what point did they start thinking pretending to eat his dead son would make God love them? Humans are so cute.”

The One Who Got Away ---

A STARTER FOR :  @xaiphan

BEING remembered was truly a wonderful thing. Those kids he had stolen from their beds late at night for misbehavior years ago would find that one dream or movie that would remind them of a name that would send chills down their spines. The Boogeyman was a common name that would float from parent to parent and just hearing it would remind them of their fearful nights where the knocking under their bed or in their closet meant that they would have no chance to say goodbye to their parents. Luckily for them, the memory of their time spent away was devoured deep into their minds that they were scarred enough not to be able to relive it - and yet, in their dreams, they most likely did. They were all grown now and passing away those dreams like adult nuisances even though it would still linger in the back of their minds every time they went to bed. 

It wasn’t every day that Bo would find himself too late to eat certain kids when they were older because life was unpredictable and would take them away before he would even get the chance to. It was a pity really - watching from the darkness the way discovered bodies were hauled from the resting place of street corners, creeks, and alleyways. Beautiful bodies that were mangled, poisoned, or otherwise chopped up by another human out of entertainment purposes. It made him growl in unhappiness that his beloved children were forced  out of the world without his help. 

What was really rare though was when those dead children would reappear onto the surface of Earth and blink a thought his way. It wasn’t like he could eat them now that they were no longer human, but meeting them and reevaluating their lives and seeing how they ended up was always something interesting to him  and so when Xander sent a blink of remembrance his way, he made his way over and crept under his bed. He took a deep inhale and sighed silently from the soft scent of who he used to be. He’d knock like normal. 

                                        ONCE. TWICE. 

                                                             “I missed you, Xander.”

“I am actually happy that you decide that you do not want to rest in peace. Because this time. I will not allow it.” he frowns and nudges the fallen one with a small smile on his face.
